Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

This role involves teaching 5 hours per day and is a part time position

You should have knowledge of the Montessori curriculum and be able to work with reception and year 1 students

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work towards teaching qualifications through our training centre, leading to QTLS.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson according to the Montessori curriculum Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that stimulate student interest and participation. Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. Create a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, cooperation, and active participation among students. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to enhance the educational experience and address any student needs. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of the Montessori curriculum relevant to the teaching position. Qualification in Montessori teaching methods, or working towards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively. Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that accommodates diverse learning needs. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in lesson planning and record keeping. A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
