Location: Moseley, Birmingham Setting: Moseley Montessori Nursery (est. 18+ years)
Our well-established and prestigious nursery, proudly serving families in the heart of Moseley for over 18 years, is seeking dedicated, creative and highly organised Montessori Teachers to join our vibrant preschool team. Grounded in authentic Montessori philosophy, our practice is centred on nurturing each child's natural curiosity, independence and love of learning.
About the Role
As a Montessori Teacher in our preschool room, you will help prepare a beautiful, purposeful learning environment that supports each child's unique development at their own pace.
You will:
Work collaboratively with a supportive and friendly team.
Support each child through responsive care, nurturing their physical, emotional and intellectual growth in line with Montessori principles.
Prepare, plan and maintain the Montessori classroom to meet each child's individual needs.
Observe, assess and record children's progress in line with Montessori principles and EYFS.
Communicate confidently with parents, sharing updates and working together on next steps.
Support children with SEND, adapting the environment and activities as needed.
Promote equal opportunities for all children regardless of cultural, linguistic, religious or personal backgrounds.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
Hold a recognised Montessori qualification (essential).
Have experience working in an Early Years/Montessori setting.
Be passionate about early childhood development and fostering independence.
Show creativity, strong organisation and initiative within the prepared environment.
Have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
Bring a warm, friendly and calm presence to the classroom.
Have knowledge and experience supporting children with SEND.
