Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging children engagement. This role involves planning and delivering lessons, assessing children progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the educational experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum. Create a supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect. Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, providing constructive feedback. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance educational programmes. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress and behaviour. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.

Requirements

A recognized Montessori qualification (e.g., NVQ 3) is preferred. Strong knowledge of the curriculum and educational standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate children of diverse backgrounds. Experience in classroom management techniques. Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes is advantageous. A commitment to ongoing professional development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
