Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a retail setting, Located in St James quarter in Edinburgh city centre to ensure that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service to our clients.

Working 12 hours per week, Tuesdays as day off start times from 07:30am, 2 hours per shift

Sundays from 09:00am

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from clutter. Handle waste disposal and recycling according to established procedures. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.

Proficient in English, with strong verbal communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues effectively. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively.
