Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a retail environment, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a clean and pleasant atmosphere for both staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure high hygiene standards. Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored correctly and replenished as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning tasks. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effective A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills related to the role.
