Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Morning Cleaner to join our team in the Newtownabbey area, specifically near Abbey Retail Park. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial and residential spaces. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in cleaning services, with a focus on floor care and general maintenance. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe, clean environment for our clients and their visitors.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash disposal Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and stripping floors to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including floor buffers and scrubbers as required Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and clients Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any issues or damages promptly

Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning, experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is highly desirable Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance procedures Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Reliable with a strong work ethic; punctuality is essential Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Applicants must be able to commit to Saturdays
Days: Mon - Sat 9am - 11am

Hours: 12 per week

Rate: 12.21 per hour (Paid monthly via BACS)
