The incumbent is required to provide general cleaning duties of the Factory.
2. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
CANTEEN
- ensure canteen is cleaned daily- wipe tables, clean microwaves, windowsills wiped, floor swept and mopped, empty and rinse used coffee cup holders, wipe chairs down, wipe fridges and walls, clean out and sanitise waste liquid sink and water dispenser drip tray, disinfect vending machines.
3 monthly fridge defrost and weekly fridge clear out.
KITCHEN
- ensure kitchen is kept clean and tidy, wipe all surfaces down thoroughly, empty bin on a daily basis, mop floor and wipe fridges and walls down daily.
Clean inside cupboards and draws weekly.
3 monthly fridge defrost and weekly fridge clear out.
TOLIETS
- Ensure all toilets across the factory are kept clean at all times, wipe toilet and sinks down daily, replenish toilets rolls and soap when needed, clean mirrors, wipe doors and handles, disinfect toilet brush, wipe down walls, mop floors regularly.
WAREHOUSE OFFICE
- empty bins daily vacuum and mop when needed.
WAREHOUSE CORRIDOR
- wipe doors and handles down, sweep weekly and mop when needed.
MAIN CORRIDOR
- Sweep and mop weekly, mop any spillages daily, wipe all handles and doors daily.
RECEPTION
- vacuum, mop and dust down weekly, clean inside windows and doors (up to head height) when necessary.
MAIN OFFICE
- vacuum weekly, dust down when needed.
QUALITY ROOM
- brush and mop weekly, disinfect handles and switches daily.
MD'S OFFICE
- empty bins, polish and wipe sills, vacuum when needed.
AIRLOCKS / LOCKER ROOMS
- sweep and wipe handles daily, mop floors when necessary, vacuum shoe lockers once a week.
STAFF ENTRANCE
- wipe sills, tables and benches daily, water dispense drip tray and liquid waste sink washed out and sanitised daily, disinfect vending machines daily, sweep and mop floor daily , vacuum floor mats daily, disinfect handles and switches daily.
OUTSIDE
- empty ashtrays when needed.
ALL CONFERENCE / MEETING ROOMS
- tidy chairs daily, empty bins when needed, vacuum and polish weekly, disinfect handles and wipe tables daily, clean fridges and microwaves daily, 3 monthly fridge defrost and weekly fridge clear out.
FIRST AID ROOM
- wipe all surfaces and sweep and mop floor weekly, ensure sink is sanitised weekly/when needed.
Report any damages to property, and / or maintenance issues e.g. leaks, accordingly.
Undertake any other reasonable duties, as deemed appropriate in this role.
3. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
Knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) e.g. detergents, cleaning agents etc
4. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Previous experience is not essential.
5. KEY POSITION CHALLENGES
The ability to undertake responsibilities with minimum supervision and in a positive manner.
To maintain the premises in a clean and tidy condition.
