Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our morning care team from 7am until 10pm. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and companionship.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide patient care tailored to individual needs, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times. Support clients with mobility and physical assistance. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Implement behaviour management techniques as required for clients with specific needs such as Alzheimer's or dementia care. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any concerns to the field care supervisor, care co-ordinator or registered manager. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as needed, ensuring their safety during transport.

Experience

Previous experience in caregiving, particularly in assisted living, senior care, hospice care, or home care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with specific patient needs related to Alzheimer's or dementia care is advantageous. Certification in first aid is preferred to ensure the safety of clients during care provision. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.25 per hour
