Hours:

23 per week | 3 shifts per week

Shift Pattern:

07:00 - 14:00 | Includes weekends on a rota

About Towy Castle

Located in a peaceful setting with beautiful views across the Towy estuary, Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential home providing high-quality dementia and elderly care. With over 35 years of trusted service, our team is known for being warm, supportive, and committed to person-centred care.

What You'll Do

As a Care Assistant, you'll help residents start their day with comfort, dignity, and confidence. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting residents with washing, dressing, and personal care Assisting with mobility, wellbeing checks, and daily routines Helping with breakfast and lunchtime support Encouraging independence and meaningful interaction Maintaining accurate records throughout your shift Working with your team to keep the environment safe, clean, and calm

What We're Looking For

? Previous experience in a care setting (essential)
? Understanding of dementia care (preferred)
? Compassionate, patient, and dependable
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it
? Strong communication and teamwork skills
