We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented
Mortgage Administrator
to join our growing team. This role is central to the smooth running of the mortgage application process, providing administrative and case management support from initial submission through to completion.
The ideal candidate will have at least
one year's experience within the mortgage industry
, a strong understanding of compliance requirements, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Mortgage Case Management
Manage the full administration of mortgage applications from submission to completion
Gather, verify, and upload all required documentation (ID, income evidence, bank statements, credit reports, etc.)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within CRM and case management systems
Track case progress and proactively chase lenders to ensure mortgage offers are issued promptly
Identify and resolve issues or delays, providing solutions where possible
Client & Third-Party Liaison
Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the mortgage process
Liaise with mortgage lenders, solicitors, estate agents etc.
Respond promptly to emails and telephone enquiries, providing clear and professional updates
Requirements
Minimum
1 year's experience
in a mortgage brokerage or lender environment
Strong administrative experience within the mortgage industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft, and digital document tools
Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of UK mortgage regulations (FCA, AML, GDPR)
CeMAP qualification is an advantage
