Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Mortgage & Protection Administrator to join our friendly, dynamic and ambitious team.
About the Role
This is a key position within the business, working closely with our Administration Manager and Advisers, supporting clients from application through to completion and ensuring a smooth, professional journey at every stage.
We are looking for someone who enjoys communicating with people, has a strong eye for detail, and genuinely cares about delivering an excellent client experience. You'll be organised, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
The role offers clear progression opportunities for the right individual, whether into a Senior Administrator, Financial Planning Paraplanner, or ultimately an Adviser role, depending on your aspirations and strengths.
Key Responsibilities
(but not limited to)
Processing mortgage and protection applications from submission through to completion
Liaising with lenders, insurers, solicitors and other third parties to progress cases
Keeping clients fully informed throughout their application journey
Providing high-quality administrative support to advisers
Producing client and provider correspondence, reports and documentation
Managing diaries, booking client appointments and follow-ups
Updating and maintaining client records on internal CRM systems
Answering incoming calls and handling client queries professionally
Welcoming clients and visitors to the office
Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA requirements, data protection, financial crime prevention and Treating Customers Fairly principles
About You
To be successful in this role:

You have at least 1 year's experience in a mortgage administration role and are comfortable managing cases from application through to completion.
You are highly organised, detail-focused, and take real ownership of your work, ensuring accuracy and consistency at all times.
You communicate confidently and professionally, both in writing and verbally, and enjoy dealing with clients and third parties.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritise tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines.
You are proactive, adaptable, and able to use your own initiative, while also working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
You have strong IT skills, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
You are professional, personable, and approachable, with a positive, can-do attitude.
You have strong academic foundations, including good GCSE and A-Level results (where applicable).
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience working within the Quilter network and/or Xplan
CeMAP or equivalent qualifications
Location & Hours
Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week (9:00am - 5:30pm)
