Job Description

We are looking for a Part Time (Three days) Mortgage Administrator - Post Offer, to work in the Thornton-Cleveleys Office. The role will have the ability in the future to progress into full time and even the option to train as a Mortgage Broker should the aplicant have the desire to progress.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate professionalism and be comfortable dealing with clients, lenders, estate agents and Solicitors alike. We are looking for excellent organisation skills and ability to work to deadlines using a variety of software and systems. We welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience in the Mortgage, Estate Agents (Mainly Sales Progression) and conveyancing Industry.

Key Responsibilities - Mortgage Administrator (Post-Offer)Post-Offer Case Management



Take full ownership of mortgage cases

from mortgage offer through to completion

Ensure all lender conditions are satisfied in a timely and accurate manner Monitor case progress daily and proactively identify and resolve delays Maintain clear, up-to-date case notes and records on internal systems

Client Liaison & Communication



Act as the main point of contact for clients post-offer, providing regular updates and reassurance Explain next steps clearly and manage client expectations through to completion Respond promptly and professionally to client queries via phone, email, and portal messaging

Solicitor & Estate Agent Liaison



Liaise with solicitors/conveyancers to chase progress, outstanding documentation, and exchange/completion dates Communicate with estate agents to ensure all parties remain aligned and informed Coordinate between lenders, solicitors, agents, and clients to keep transactions moving smoothly

Lender Interaction



Deal directly with lenders to: Chase valuations, offers, and conditions Request extensions or amendments where required Resolve post-offer queries or issues Ensure lender requirements are met within deadlines to avoid offer expiry or delays

Documentation & Compliance Support



Ensure all required documents are correctly received, uploaded, and stored Support the compliance process by maintaining accurate and complete case files Assist with ID checks, gifted deposit paperwork, and post-offer documentation

System & Software Management



Use mortgage and CRM systems (e.g. Twenty7Tec, lender portals, document portals) Maintain accurate data entry and case tracking across all systems Follow internal processes and SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency

Deadline & Pipeline Management



Manage multiple cases at varying stages while meeting tight deadlines Prioritise workload effectively to ensure completions are achieved on time Escalate issues early to senior team members where necessary

Team Collaboration



Work closely with Mortgage Brokers and the wider admin team to support case progression Provide updates to brokers on case status and highlight any risks or actions required Contribute to continuous improvement of post-offer processes

Future Development (Optional Progression)



Opportunity to: Increase to a full-time role as the business grows Train as a Mortgage Broker (subject to performance, interest, and suitability) Gain exposure to the full mortgage journey and broader financial services environment

Skills & Experience RequiredEssential Skills



Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases at different stages Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities Comfortable dealing with clients, lenders, solicitors, and estate agents Proficient in using computer systems and online portals Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team

Desirable Experience



The ideal candidate will have experience in

one or more

of the following areas:

Mortgage Administration

(particularly post-offer case management)

Conveyancing / Legal Support

(residential property transactions)

Estate Agency Sales Progression

Financial Services Administration

(desirable but not essential)

Knowledge & Understanding



Understanding of the mortgage process from offer to completion Familiarity with lender requirements, valuations, and post-offer conditions Awareness of key parties involved in a property transaction and how they interact

Training & Development



Full training provided on internal systems and processes Ongoing support and opportunity for progression for the right candidate
Mortgage admin and excellent customer service skills are required and the role will involve working from the office in or around the Thornton area.

Starting salary is 12,558 per annum

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
