The Mortgage Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the mortgage team by managing the administrative aspects of the mortgage process. You will be responsible for liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, and internal team members to ensure each case progresses efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and track mortgage applications from submission to completion
Liaise with mortgage advisers, clients, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to gather and confirm necessary documentation
Ensure all client files are compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies
Perform regular updates on CRM systems with accurate and up-to-date case notes
Monitor application progress and follow up on outstanding items to ensure deadlines are met
Prepare and review documentation for mortgage offers and completions
Respond promptly to client and lender inquiries via phone and email
Maintain organized digital and/or physical filing systems
Assist with general administrative tasks including data entry, scanning, and document preparation
Provide administrative support to the wider team as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in an administrative role (experience in mortgage or financial services preferred)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Good understanding of the mortgage process and compliance requirements (training will be provided)
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM/database systems
A proactive and client-focused approach
