Basic salary 30-40k negotiable dependent on experience plus uncapped quarterly bonus. OTE 70,000

ALL LEADS PROVIDED

Employed role, providing mortgage and protection advice to clients, whilst adhering to FCA rules and our Firms policies and procedures. You will be responsible for providing independent advice and making recommendations from the Whole of Market. You will be based in our offices in Motherwell, Lanarkshire. Due to our inhouse Commercial Department you will also have the opportunity for business protection leads.

EXPECTATIONS:

As an Employed Mortgage and Protection Adviser you can expect to:-

Provide full advice and recommendations on both Mortgage and Protection Services Be responsible for the full end-to-end process of applications ensuring that you are identifying your client's needs and offering advice and products that best suits their requirements Treat your clients with the highest regards ensuring that they receive the correct and compliant financial advice whilst making sure that they fully understand the products and services that are available to them Be seen as the expert in your client's journey, with a goal to help your clients to achieve their property dreams.
QUALIFYING CRITERIA:

To be a successful Mortgage and Protection Adviser we require you to:-

Hold CeMAP or similar industry-recognised qualification Be an ambitious, driven and a self-motivated individual Have good credit history. You must also be free from any regulatory breaches and not be banned from accessing any mortgage lenders Have a minimum of 24 months mortgage advising experience within a brokerage Have a consistent track record of achieving your goals within your current role Be proactive and self-motivated Have a passion for ensuring a fantastic customer experience Willingness to learn and adapt to market and developer needs Proven use of mortgage-specific software You are legally entitled to live and work in the UK in accordance to the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. (Please Note: you will need to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK via proof of address, identity and NI prior to a formal offer of employment)
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Keeping up to date with mortgage deals, products, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace Complying at all times with the compliance and training and competence procedures of our firm Complying at all times with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the FCA Principles, Rules and the Conduct Rules Identifying and contacting potential clients. Gathering sufficient client information and identifying client needs Analysing information gathered and undertaking sufficient research to make suitable mortgage and protection recommendations Completing all supporting documentation in an accurate and compliant manner Attaining and maintaining competent status as defined by FCA and our firm Maintaining performance standards in accordance with those outlined in the Key Performance Indicators section of the Training and Competence procedures
