Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join our team.

Based from Home with access to an office in South Belfast. The role is self-employed, commission based.

Qualified face-to-face appointments are provided. Booked directly into your diary, these will be a mix of re-mortgage, home-mover and first-time-buyer clients actively looking mortgage advice.
The appointments will be in a clients own home within a reasonable travel distance.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in guiding clients through the mortgage process, providing expert advice, and ensuring they secure the most suitable financial solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about helping others achieve their property ownership goals and interested in developing their career within the financial sector.

Duties

Some Face-To-Face Appointments provided within a reasonable travel distance of advisors home. Assess clients' financial situations to determine suitable mortgage options and protection needs. Provide clear and professional advice on mortgage and associated protection products. Liaise with lenders, estate agents, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth transactions Support clients throughout the entire mortgage process from initial enquiry to completion

Qualifications

Previous experience giving mortgage and protection advice is essential Strong understanding of basic maths and numerical skills for calculations and assessments Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information clearly Organised with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance Ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine interest in financial products and services Applicant must hold CeMap, Cert CII or equivalent professional mortgage qualifications.
