Overview

We are seeking an employed mortgage advisor to join our brand new office in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will need at least 1 years worth of experience of advising. The role is office based and it is ideally for someone who wants to progress into the role as a team leader and once we grow the team and then into management. You also have another route of going self employed and starting your own business with us.

We are Power Mortgages and we have been established for over 14 years specializing in contractor mortgages and buy to lets. We have had rapid growth in the last year and are continuing to look to grow in 2026 and growing our team in Birmingham.

Not only are we a mortgage brokers we are also a lead generation company. All of our leads are generated in house from our own marketing source and we are looking to grow our lead generation business more by growing relationships in the midlands area. With top class training with our director who has developed a number of advisors of the years, with this alone this is a fantastic opportunity to grow yourself as an advisor.

Not only do we provide all the above you will have access to an administrator who will look after all your cases post submission.

Responsibilities

Assess clients' financial situations to determine suitable mortgage products. Provide clear explanations of various mortgage options, including interest rates, terms, and conditions. Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and gathering necessary documentation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage market and regulatory requirements. Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing support throughout the mortgage process.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of financial services and the mortgage industry. Basic maths skills to accurately assess financial information and calculations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Cemap qualified or equivalent.
