Summary:
We are looking for a full-time Mortgage Advisor to join our team in Gosforth or Durham. The successful candidate will have access to a substantial client database, repeat business, and strong referral opportunities from our network of branches as well as being responsible for growing the service.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert mortgage and protection advice, converting referral business, and building strong relationships with clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who is financially motivated and keen to work in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Completing the mortgage application process from start to finish.
Processing protection applications to ensure clients have the best cover.
Managing the pipeline and chasing applications efficiently.
Converting referral business into successful mortgage applications.
Self-generating leads and identifying new opportunities.
Booking appointments and managing client interactions.
Handling re-mortgage business to maintain long-term client relationships.
Delivering high levels of customer service to both new and existing clients.
Experience Required:
CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) is essential.
Minimum 1 year of mortgage advising experience.
Experience in an estate agency setting would be beneficial.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and self-generate business.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Confidence in managing a sales pipeline and meeting client expectations.
Knowledge of current mortgage products, regulations, and the financial market.
