Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Mortgage Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, providing expert advice on mortgage products, and helping them make informed financial decisions. Your expertise in financial services and basic maths will be essential in assessing client needs and recommending suitable mortgage solutions.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' financial situations to determine their mortgage needs. Provide expert advice on various mortgage products, including fixed-rate, variable-rate, and interest-only mortgages. Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and ensure all necessary documentation is collected and submitted. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage market, including current rates, trends, and regulations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and encourage repeat business. Collaborate with lenders, solicitors, and other professionals involved in the mortgage process to ensure smooth transactions. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire mortgage process, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in financial services or a related field. Strong understanding of basic maths to analyse financial data effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients. Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities to manage multiple applications simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service. CeMAP qualifications are essential.
