What you'll do

Assist clients in understanding their mortgage options and guide them through the loan origination process. Evaluate client financial profiles and recommend suitable loan products based on their needs. Process loan applications efficiently while adhering to TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations and compliance standards. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely loan processing and approval. Prepare and explain contracts, ensuring clients are fully informed before signing. Utilize financial software to analyze data and maintain accurate records throughout the mortgage process. Conduct follow-ups with clients to address questions or concerns and ensure satisfaction throughout their journey. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, lending products, and regulatory changes.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience as a loan officer or in a similar role within the financial services sector. Strong understanding of loan processing and origination procedures. Proficiency in basic math skills, including 10-key typing for accurate data entry.

Preferred qualifications

Familiarity with TILA regulations and compliance requirements related to mortgage lending. Experience using financial software for managing client information and processing loans. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
