Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Mortgage Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will ideally have a strong background in financial services and, in particular previous experience working within an estate agent.

The successful candidate must have a passion for helping clients navigate the mortgage process. As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be responsible for guiding clients through loan origination, ensuring they understand their options, and providing exceptional service throughout the loan process.

Responsibilities

Assist clients in understanding their mortgage options and guide them through the loan origination process. Working within our Hunters estate agency relationship to service and obtain set targets. Evaluate client financial information to determine eligibility for loans and recommend appropriate products. Prepare and review loan documentation, ensuring compliance with TILA regulations and other relevant guidelines. Collaborate with loan processing teams to facilitate timely approvals and closings. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions using financial software. Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the mortgage process, addressing any questions or concerns that arise. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in lending regulations to provide informed advice.

Skills

Proven experience in loan origination and processing within the financial services sector. Familiarity with TILA regulations and contract management. Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately. Proficiency in financial software applications to manage client data and documentation effectively. Excellent typing skills, including 10 key typing proficiency for efficient data entry. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
