The opportunity





As the Mortgage & Protection Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving growth, performance, and engagement across our adviser network. You'll deliver impactful relationship management to our Partners, Principals, Advisers, and Supervisors helping them grow their firms, enhance their client propositions, and develop sustainable business plans. Working closely with the Partnership, you'll champion excellence in Mortgage and Protection, collaborate with third-party providers, and deliver workshops and initiatives that strengthen adviser capability and client outcomes. This is a permanent, hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely and travel nationally or regionally when required.

Your responsibilities will include:



Acting as a trusted, skilled Openwork representative, building and maintaining strong relationships across the Partnership Providing consultancy and business development expertise to achieve performance targets and promote best practice Supporting SME advisers with business plans and commercial growth strategies Delivering engaging workshops and meetings to educate clients and partners on mortgage and protection products Collaborating with third-party providers to enhance service offerings and expand the client base Supporting adviser growth through targeted deployment and exceptional client service Producing reports and analysis on performance, activity, and outcomes Working closely with the Business School training team to develop capability across the Mortgage and Protection network

What will you need to succeed?




Appropriate Mortgage and Protection qualifications Strong understanding of the Mortgage & Protection environment and industry Proven experience across B2B / intermediary relationships and FS distribution models Experience supporting small and medium-sized businesses with commercial planning and business development Sound working knowledge across protection, mortgage, and GI products Understanding of financial advice regulation, key commercial models, and relevant legislation Ability to manage relationships through professional and challenging interactions Experience using CRM/contact systems and managing adviser pipelines effectively
