Active Mortgages are expanding our Chelmsford team and looking for an experienced

Mortgage & Insurance Adviser

who genuinely enjoys helping clients protect what matters most.

If you thrive in a sales environment, love building relationships, and you're confident discussing

life insurance, critical illness, income protection and home insurance

, you'll fit in brilliantly here.

You'll advise on mortgages too, but let's be honest... we're looking for someone who gets energised by the insurance conversation and sees the value in maximising client outcomes. If that sounds like your natural style, this is the role you've been waiting for.

What You'll Be Doing

Advising clients on mortgages and a full suite of insurance products Speaking confidently about life cover, CIC, income protection and home insurance Proactive follow-up and relationship building with our established client base Delivering exceptional service through phone, Zoom and email Working closely with our admin and client services team to ensure smooth cases Playing a key role in maximising client value through ethical, needs-led advice Working from

all provided leads

, including: New inbound enquiries*
Warm leads*
Existing clients needing a review*
Re-engagement campaigns*
Clients who enquired but didn't take insurance*

This is a

sales role

. Professional, compliant and advice-led... but very much sales.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years

mortgage advising experience (non-negotiable) Confident at discussing and recommending insurance A natural relationship builder who doesn't shy away from picking up the phone CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude Tech-comfortable and confident working digitally Someone who enjoys being in a small, ambitious team with high standards

What You Get

Salary up to

40k,

depending on experience Commission structure across mortgage and insurance OTE beyond 40k for performers

Working Hours

Monday to Friday,

9am-5pm
