Salary: 30 - 45k
Location: Warrington
A local specialist loan provider is looking to expand their team with an employed underwriter, in their bridging department.
Experience needed for the role as a Mortgage Underwriter:
Minimum 1 years' Mortgage Underwriter experience Ideally some experience with bridging, BTL or commercial underwriting Hands-on knowledge of loan processing systems
Duties as a Mortgage Underwriter include:
Underwrite loan applications in line within credit policy Ensuring all details are correct and in line with regulations, escalating any fraudulent activity Recommends loans to the Underwriting Director and Credit Team where they fall outside of the lending mandate held Help coach a team of Underwriters Participating in improving systems and processes Keeping up to date with any regulation changes
