MOT Tester

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MOT Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in using hand and power tools. As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary.

Responsibilities

Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. Perform detailed inspections of vehicle components, including brakes, lights, steering, and suspension systems. Document test results accurately and provide clear feedback to customers regarding any necessary repairs or issues found during testing. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance or repair. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during inspections or repairs. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle testing or automotive engineering are desirable but not essential.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 100.00-120.00 per day

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
