Vulcan Motor Engineering Ltd was established in 2019. In 2022 we expanded our business into the hybrid and electric vehicle market. As part of the Bosch car service network we offer industry leading training packages to all of our staff members. We have an exciting opportunity for experienced mechanics to join our team and expand their knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicles as well as the ever changing developments in vehicle technologies.

We are a family run business and have a strong customer following built on trust and reliability.

All candidates MUST have;

A Level 3 Qualification or Accreditation (NVQ, IMI or C&G) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent. A full UK Driving Licence.
The IDEAL candidate would have;

A valid and current MOT qualification is preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate Over 3 years' experience as a qualified vehicle technician. Experience of hybrid & electric vehicles is preferred but the correct candidates will receive extensive training in this area as well as general vehicle electronics. Electrical fault finding, component testing and diagnostic experience. His/her own set of Tools.
As a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of all types of light vehicles in our busy independent automotive repair workshop.

If you are not already a qualified as an MOT Tester, you must be willing to undertake the necessary training. All training and expenses will be paid for by the company.

You will be expected to carry out service, maintenance and repair work as well as diagnostics as requested, and where appropriate use scanning equipment.

Hours 8:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Alternate Saturdays available 8:00 - 14:00.
