MOTION DESIGNER

We are looking for a Motion Designer, who can create highly engaging complex animations for a diverse array of media, including smartphones, tablets and the web to join our fast-paced Birmingham based design agency.

We are a team of multidisciplinary designers, animators and web designers with a passion for solving problems and crafting beautiful solutions that deliver results.

As our Motion Designer, you will be responsible for working hand in hand with the design and illustration team, aiding with the creation of assets, then bringing them to life and delivering high quality and innovative motion graphic content.

This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgment and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. You will be an integral part of every stage in the creative process, from conceptualisation to client amends.

Skills & Experience required:

Minimum 2 year's experience working in a creative background in corporate or agency environment. Excellent eye for detail, presentation and communication skills. Ability to work calmly under tight deadlines and adapt according to priorities. Confidence to work individually but within a team environment. Good time management with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully, quality is key. Use internal systems as required. Professional demeanour and comfortable meeting with clients. Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Proven experience in storyboarding,

capable of translating scripts and concepts into clear visual sequences that communicate story, emotion, and pacing. Demonstrating strong creative design skills, creative flair and have a full understanding of design principles.

While not essential, the following is desirable;

Management/Leadership Experience of Cinema 4D Premiere Pro Adobe Animate Adobe XD, HTML InDesign

With over 17 years' experience, we are a reputable and growing creative agency based in Birmingham working with a variety of high profile blue chip companies. You will have a friendly bunch of colleagues to work with and have a great work life balance. We work 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, from our modern state of the art office and also offer flexible working, where if you choose to do so you can work remotely from home for three days a week.

Negotiable depending on experience.
