Davies Group are recruiting for a Motor - Claims Handler to join our Motor Claims team. As a Handler, you'll be the first point of telephone contact for our customers. So, you'll need to be a great communicator, dedicated to providing a professional and empathetic service. The Motor - Claims Handler would manage a caseload of Pre-Litigated Motor Claims.

Your Role



You will be part of a busy and fast-paced department that is responsible for providing support to our customers who have been involved in a road traffic accident, regardless of fault. Your role will involve communicating with our customers through both verbal and written means and discussing their options whether their vehicle is repairable or has been deemed a write-off.

What will your day look like:





To effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims from inception to settlement
Identify cases for early litigation with high prospects of success and low risk
To support delivery of consistently high levels of service and productivity
To work closely with colleagues within the firm to deliver consistently high levels of service
To input accurate data and ensure data maintenance

Experience of dealing with clients
Experience of dealing with motor claims
Excellent technical knowledge motor claims

Experience of dealing with liability and quantum dispute cases
Experience of dealing with repair documentation
Experience of quoting motor claims case law effectively
Experience of dealing with motor personal injury claims under the predictive costs regime is desirable
Experience of the OIC and MOJ portals
Pre-litigation experience
Experience of dealing with Credit Hire claims including GTA, non GTA and Taxi

Levels



Motor - Claims Handler CH3
An experienced claims handler with significate experience dealing with customer claims, credit hire, third party property damage, recoveries and personal injury via the OIC and MOJ portal. Will have an excellent knowledge of motor related caselaw.

Motor - Claims Handler CH4
An experienced claims handler with significate experience dealing with customer claims, high value and complex credit hire, third party property damage, recoveries and personal injury via the OIC and MOJ portal, along with high value complex injury up to 100k. Will have an excellent knowledge of motor related caselaw including Scottish and Northern Irish.
