Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
Diagnose faults accurately and perform necessary repairs promptly
Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out maintenance tasks
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as required
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to optimise operational efficiency
Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact drivers
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
