We're Hiring: Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician Location:

Manor Garage Caldicot, Rogiet, NP26 3TA

Pay:

Negotiable (depending on experience)

Hours:

Full-time. Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

We are DMS Auto Services, a family run friendly, local garage that takes pride in the work we do and keeping our customers and safe on the road. We work on all makes and models, from quick services to bigger repairs, and we like to keep things professional whilst maintaining a friendly and relaxed environment.

What You'll Be Doing;

Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a range of vehicles Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment EV repairs Carrying out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised or training will be provided) Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts Engine rebuilds Keep the workshop tidy and safe Chat with customers if required to make sure they understand work that is required or work you have already carried out Maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition. Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed Completing all documentation to the required standard
As a mechanic, you'll safely prepare our customers' cars for the road ahead. You'll care about every detail and take pride in doing a meticulous job. Above all, you'll want to be part of a capable, motivated team who feel the same way. You'll get the chance to work on an incredible range of manufacturers and models, developing your skills and staying up to date with the very latest in vehicle technology.

What We're Looking For;

Qualified mechanic (Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or similar) A few years' hands-on experience in a garage or workshop Confident using diagnostic tools and equipment Full clean driving licence Reliable, hardworking, punctual, consistent and good time management skills
