We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in using hand and power tools. This role is essential for maintaining and repairing various machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and machinery.
Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Keep the workshop clean and organised, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
