Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate proficiency in using both hand and power tools. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery and vehicles. Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and techniques. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards. Keep the workshop clean, organised, and equipped with necessary tools and materials. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical repair including timing belts,chains & Wet belts

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive or machinery repair preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers, as well as power tools like drills and grinders. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanics or engineering are advantageous but not essential.
