Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and diagnostic software Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring minimal downtime Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed Collaborate with other team members to optimise equipment performance Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all tasks Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as required Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards

Qualifications

Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical or industrial maintenance are preferred Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
