We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Duties

Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on mechanical systems using appropriate tools Troubleshoot mechanical faults and determine effective solutions promptly Replace worn or damaged parts, including belts, bearings, and hydraulic components Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as required Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards Collaborate with other team members to optimise maintenance procedures and minimise downtime

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues accurately Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and pneumatic tools Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to repairs Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship and safety compliance
