We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues or potential problems.
Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and adjustments.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time taken for repairs.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A valid driver's licence may be required for certain positions.
