We are seeking a skilled diesel/petrol Engine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in using both hand tools and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing engine failures , repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Knowledge of engine removal/ refitting and rebuilding is essential for this position
For the right candidate a permanent position can be offered .
Pay is negotiable on experience and references.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues.
Be able to remove engines, strip and inspect also rebuild and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Engine Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A valid driving licence may be required depending on the specific role.
