We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in using both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the necessary repairs or maintenance required.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and installations.
Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used during repairs.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
Stay updated on the latest industry developments and repair techniques.
Qualifications
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive or machinery repair.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and clients.
