We are seeking an experienced and reliable Mechanic to work in a new garage in the Magherafelt / Mid Ulster area. Preference would be minimum 5 years experience but I am open to have conversation with anyone interested. No HGV experience required.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections / servicing to vehicles
Diagnose faults and perform repairs using appropriate hand and power tools
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
Keep the workshop clean, organised, and stocked with necessary tools and parts
Qualifications
Proven experience as a mechanic.
Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle types.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Relevant qualifications or certifications in motor mechanic fields are desirable but not essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 18.00-21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
