Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of LGV & HGV. Duties

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on LGV & HGV and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques, then execute repairs efficiently. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely to dismantle, repair, or replace faulty components. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and organisational standards.

Requirements

Proven experience or training in mechanical repair and maintenance. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components. Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., as well as power tools like drills and grinders. Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics accurately. Good organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or related fields are desirable but not essential. Pay: 27,472.50-51,560.52 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week
