We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Duties

Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on vehicles and equipment Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime Use hand tools and power tools to dismantle, repair, and assemble mechanical components Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and accurately Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with practical experience in vehicle maintenance Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Ability to diagnose mechanical faults accurately and implement appropriate solutions Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or related fields Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving technology standards
