We are seeking a qualified & experienced vehicle mechanic to join our team at our new, busy workshop on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be capable, adaptable, reliable, and honest, consistently taking pride in their work. This role is suited to a motivated and knowledgeable individual who is passionate about motor vehicles & demonstrates meticulous attention to detail in every task undertaken.

Main Responsibilities
Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance work on a range of vehicles. Including our own fleet.
Inspecting, assessing, and confidently diagnosing vehicle faults.
Experience of complex mechanical tasks, such as clutch and timing belt replacements is a huge advantage.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance our own fleet.
Ensuring high standards of workmanship and contributing to the workshop's reputation for excellent customer service.
Working independently when necessary, as well as collaborating effectively within a team.
Maintaining a positive and proactive attitude at all times.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times
Requirements
Time served is perfectly acceptable, City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair, or an equivalent certification
Proven experience in car servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong attention to detail with a thorough first-time fix approach.
Desire to be part of a friendly and supportive team environment.
