We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have experience using hand tools and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance work.
Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to mechanical work.
Qualifications
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
