We are seeking a skilled Automotive engineer to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge, ideally be level 3 qualified and hold an MOT LICENCE ALTHOUGH THIS IS PREFERRED it is not essential as training can be provided.

The candidate must have good communication skills and be willing to knowledge share when appropriate

We have a good team of skilled engineers therefore are looking for someone who wants to expand the teams knowledge or learn mechanical engineering ( Engine/Transmission Building ) and not to be just a fitter.

The candidate must have legible skills, to be able to complete job cards.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in various types of vehicles, using JLR-BMW-Mercedes-Ford, Dealer equipment Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance The candidate must be physically fit, to assist when required with heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment.

Experience

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or in a similar role is essential Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Welding experience is a plus but not mandatory Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with colleagues
