Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in equipment repair, ensuring that vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. This role requires a proactive approach to diagnosing and resolving issues, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients. The role is 40 hours per week with 30 minute unpaid lunch break, from either 07.30-16.00 or 08.30-17.00 Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and necessary repairs. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks. Assemble and maintain various vehicle components, ensuring all work meets safety standards. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs and installations. Assist in heavy lifting of vehicle parts and equipment during maintenance procedures. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair status. Possess excellent communication skills and be able to effective communicate with other team members and front of house staff Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in vehicle maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle systems. Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and the use of power tools is highly desirable. Familiarity with Bosch KTS, Picoscope, Autologic and Snap-on diagnostic tools is highly desirable. Previous customer service experience will be an advantage, enhancing client interactions. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is required.
