We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs Carry out assembly tasks following manufacturer specifications and safety standards Execute welding tasks as required for structural repairs or modifications Assist with the installation of new components and equipment in vehicles Perform heavy lifting of vehicle parts or components safely during repair procedures Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction

Requirements

Proven experience in vehicle repair or maintenance with strong mechanical knowledge Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and routine maintenance procedures Ability to diagnose issues accurately using diagnostic equipment and schematics Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in various positions for extended periods Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills Good communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or related fields are desirable but not essential
