Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair, including diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine performance. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and accurately, and will be comfortable working in a high paced environment. We are looking for someone who is reliable and motivated, with at least 3 years experience in both car and commercial vehicles.

Full driving license is essential.

Truck Services of Sussex LTD is a family run independent garage, established for over 30 years. We are a class 4, 5 & 7 MOT testing station. We carry out all aspects of maintenance, servicing and repairs including diagnostics, for all makes and models including HGVs.

Working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Closed on bank holidays & the period between Christmas & New Year. (This is extra holiday and is not included in annual holiday allowance)

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on vehicles. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations. Perform safety inspections and recommend necessary repairs. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed. Keep up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Follow all safety protocols when working on vehicles.

Pay: 36,270.00-38,610.00 per year
