SKODA Warrington is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our reputable dealership. As a Vehicle Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with one of the leading automotive brands and be part of a dynamic and supportive team. If you have a passion for automotive engineering, possess NVQ Level 3 qualifications, and are experienced with VWAG vehicles, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Conducting vehicle maintenance and repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines Performing diagnostic tests and identifying mechanical and electrical issues Carrying out routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections Handling complex vehicle repairs, including engine and transmission overhauls Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and conducting software updates Testing and inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet safety and emission standards Collaborating with colleagues and sharing knowledge to improve overall team performance Embracing the evolving automotive landscape and adapting to new technologies, specifically electric vehicles

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent Prior experience working with VWAG vehicles is preferred Proficient knowledge of automotive diagnostic systems and equipment Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with excellent problem-solving skills High level of attention to detail and a methodical approach to work Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and delivering high-quality service Willingness to stay updated on industry advancements and embrace electric vehicle technology Valid driver's license
