We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of vehicles. Duties

Conduct diagnostic assessments using schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks Repair or replace faulty components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and manufacturer specifications Carry out welding and equipment repair as necessary to restore vehicle integrity Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid top-ups Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle serviced Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients Ensure the work area is kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in vehicle repair or maintenance roles with strong mechanical knowledge Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised machinery Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and routine maintenance procedures Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are preferred but not essential
