Lings Triumph Essex is looking for an ambitious, professional and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our award-nominated team. This is a high-impact role where your organisation, communication and drive directly influence your success.
Reporting to the Dealer Principal, you'll manage your own customer base, build your personal reputation, maintain a strong order bank and represent a world-leading motorcycle brand with professionalism and confidence.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement & Sales
Speak with potential customers daily via phone, email and face-to-face.
Guide customers through specifications, pricing, availability and features.
Deliver exceptional customer service from first enquiry to handover.
Build and maintain your own pipeline and personal customer base.
Confidently negotiate deals and handle objections.
Process & Organisation
Organise your diary proactively to maximise lead conversion.
Maintain FCA compliance throughout every step of the sales process.
Manage test rides, including insurance checks and ensuring bikes are fuelled and prepared.
Update CRM records accurately and maintain a clean, organised order bank.
Advertising & Lead Generation
Photograph and advertise part exchanges to generate enquiries.
Use social media and online platforms to promote offers, stock and unique opportunities.
Leverage every customer interaction as an opportunity to build new leads.
Finance & Compliance
Provide finance quotes and explain available options clearly.
Walk customers through finance proposals and documentation.
Maintain full compliance with FCA regulations and dealership policies.
Brand Representation
Represent Triumph with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.
Uphold showroom standards and help create a welcoming environment.
Ensure every customer receives a premium, memorable experience.
What We're Looking For
A genuine passion for motorcycles and the Triumph brand.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Confident, proactive and comfortable building relationships with all types of customers.
Natural negotiator who doesn't shy away from pressure or unexpected challenges.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy diary.
Quick to learn new IT systems, digital tools and in-house platforms.
Basic numeracy and a solid understanding of calculations used in sales.
Motorcycle licence required. Car licence preferred.
