As the
Motorhome Sales & Operations Executive
, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the dealership site, manage the full sales journey, and be instrumental in driving business growth. This is a varied and hands-on role that offers autonomy, variety, and real responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience
Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries via phone, email, and in person
Conduct engaging vehicle viewings, demonstrations, and test drives
Negotiate and close sales deals while maintaining healthy margins
Provide a seamless and professional handover experience on collection day
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
Vehicle Appraisal & Purchasing
Accurately appraise part-exchange and stock vehicles
Negotiate fair purchase prices with private sellers or trade suppliers
Complete all associated documentation with attention to detail
Marketing & Online Listings
Write persuasive and accurate vehicle descriptions for advertising
Take high-quality photographs and engaging video walkarounds
Upload and manage listings on the company website and 3rd-party platforms
Support promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team
Site & Operational Management
Open and close the site according to business hours
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe forecourt and sales office
Monitor vehicle presentation and assist with valeting when needed
Ensure security procedures are followed, especially during locking up
Support stock checks and vehicle preparation as required
Reporting & Market Awareness
Record and track all sales activities and customer interactions
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Provide insights on customer preferences and stock demand
Person SpecificationEssential
Previous experience in vehicle sales or a strong customer-facing sales role
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Confident communication and negotiation skills
High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and presentation
Competence with digital marketing tools and photography
Full UK driving licence
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
IT-literate, comfortable with emails, CRM systems, and data entry
Desirable
Experience in motorhome or leisure vehicle sales
Knowledge of motorhome layouts, appliances, and customer preferences
Understanding of vehicle finance and warranty products
Experience using social media for business promotion
