Movable Wall Installer And Service Engineer
Job Description
We are a specialist movable wall installation and service company and currently recruiting for a Installer / Service Engineer to join our team.
Will be required to carry out new movable wall installations and also perform maintenance, repairs, and safety checks on existing installed systems.
Service responsibilities include mechanical checks, adjusting panels, lubricating tracks, replacing seals and worn parts.
Via our client base we also carry out repairs to windows / doors including replacement glazing / door closers / window hinges across a wide range of clients and products.
In addition, we also install internal acoustic treatment panels to walls and ceilings.
Key responsibilities
New Movable Walls
: Installation of new walls to client specificationAcoustic Panels:
Installation of acoustic panels to walls and ceilingsInspections:
Conducting full system inspections, including checks for wears on tracks, trolleys, and seals, and looking for visible faults.Maintenance and adjustments:
Lubricating moving parts, adjusting panels for proper operation, and cleaning components like tracks and aluminium profiles.Repairs and replacements:
Replacing worn or damaged parts like seals, trolleys, and panels.Record Keeping:
Use completion notes and take pictures / dimensions etc to record findings and new installations issuing copy to client and to internal operations on a regular basis.Ideally candidate will have Service & Maintenance experience but would also suit allied trades such as carpenters / window installers etc as on the job training will be provided.
Experience:
Movable Wall Installations Service Maintenance experience Carpentry Work Window and Door Installation

Travel:
Clean FULL drivers licence (required) Able to travel across the country with occasional overnight stays required

Located within 30 mins commute to the office in CM16 Essex
